ReviewReply AI ("the Extension") is a Chrome extension developed by HelixForge. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

• Email address — Used for account creation and authentication via Firebase.
• Authentication tokens — Used to verify your identity and manage your session. Tokens are never stored on our servers beyond the duration of a request.
• Review content — The text of reviews you submit for reply generation. This content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce a reply and is not stored by us after the response is returned.
• API key (Lifetime plan only) — If you use the Bring Your Own Key plan, your Anthropic API key is stored locally in your browser's Chrome storage and is sent directly to Anthropic. It is never transmitted to our servers.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and manage your account
• To track your usage against your plan limits (free trial, monthly, or lifetime)
• To generate AI-powered review replies via Anthropic's Claude API
• To process payments through Stripe (for paid plans)

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — Processes review text to generate replies. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase (Google) — Handles authentication. Subject to Firebase's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare Workers — Hosts our API proxy and usage tracking. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — Processes payments for paid plans. We do not store credit card information. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

User preferences (tone, dark mode, reply length) are stored locally in Chrome storage on your device. Account and usage data (email, plan type, usage count) is stored in Cloudflare KV, a secure key-value store. We do not store review content, generated replies, or API keys on our servers.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the third-party services listed above as necessary to provide the Extension's functionality.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, all account data stored in our systems will be permanently removed.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
